Hello!
My name's Raj Patel, and I am currently a senior at Lambert High School. From attending Duke Tip's Entrepreneurship and Business program to countless competitive monopoly games, my passion for entrepreneurship has always been there. John C Maxwell once said, “ A great leader's courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not position." I want to put my passion for business to work to achieve my vision to create a lasting impact on communities across the world.
My entrepreneurial journey started during the pandemic when I co-founded Mango United. Due to covid, mango shipments from across the world had been stopped. To solve this issue, we started our mission to source tropical mangoes for everyone, fostering personal connections as the fruit had done to me. Since then, we have sold over 16,000 mangoes to customers across the country. That's when I discovered my interest in the intersection between entrepreneurship and sustainability. To build on this passion, I co-founded GreytoGreen, an 501(c)(3) environmental non-profit that's planted over 100,000 trees and brought together over 350 volunteers. Moreover, I serve as the CEO at Amaethon labs, a patent-pending accelerator-backed microbiology startup that's raised over $15,000 and launched our product on numerous farms. To explore other disciplines, I have researched at Georgia Tech's Fintech Lab and served as Georgia'a National Legislative coordinator for Amnesty International. Recently, I was named to the Inno 25 under 25 list which recognizes the top 25 entrepreneurs under 25 in a given city.
